When it comes to Congressional leadership on climate, there's been far too little—in spite of the fact that sizable majorities of the American people support government action to reduce America's climate pollution. But, we're starting to see some interesting developments in Congress that could reflect important shifts in the politics of Washington—and your Representative, along with 10 other House Republicans, is right in the middle of it.
They have signed on as original cosponsors of a resolution introduced by New York Representative Chris Gibson—H. Res. 424—that acknowledges the basic science of climate change and that humans are causing it. And it calls on the House to work on economically viable climate solutions, saying it is "a conservative principle to protect, conserve, and be good stewards of our environment."
Please take a moment to thank your Representative for this climate leadership.
Thank you for showing climate leadership on H. Res. 424
