Tell Your CO Senator: Support the Climate Action Plan
The Trump Administration is wreaking havoc on our environment and our climate policies, putting our children's future at risk.
But Colorado is poised to take up the mantle for real action on climate change.
This Spring, the Colorado legislature introduced a bill called the Climate Action Plan To Reduce Pollution, a science-backed policy that outlines a framework for Colorado to reduce carbon pollution from 2005 levels at least 25 percent by 2026, 50 percent by 2030, and 90 percent by 2050. This is a landmark proposal that would create huge change for our children's future. The state House of Representatives has already passed the bill — now it's up to the state Senate.
We're almost out of time to move this bill forward. Tell your state senator that we must protect our families from the threats of climate change and urge them to support this landmark bill.

This landmark bill would place Colorado as a leader in our country to protect our children's future from the many threats of climate change. Colorado has a strong history of leading innovative energy policies, from our renewable energy standard to our strong methane rules for oil and gas. Now, we have the chance to build on that leadership by passing science-based goals that put us on the path to a sustainable future. Our children will face the strongest impacts of the climate crisis. We owe it to them to do everything we can to move towards powerful solutions. The Climate Action Plan to Reduce Pollution is a key step towards climate safety for Colorado and for the entire country.
